I am (still) young, or so they say. With approximately 7 years of IT experience in Microsoft, VMware, Veeam, and storage, I have transitioned from a traditional IT administrator to a System Engineer and Consultant specializing in virtualization and disaster recovery.
I am currently working in the German midsize enterprise sector, which is experiencing increasing dynamism.
My areas of focus include:
- Virtualization with VMware vSphere
- Virtualization with Microsoft Hyper-V
- Storage (Huawei, Pure, Dell)
- Storage virtualization (VMware vSAN, DataCore SANsymphony)
- DR (Disaster Recovery) and backup solutions with Veeam Backup & Replication (On-Premise and Cloud)
- DR (Disaster Recovery) and backup solutions with Cohesity
- Security and hardening
- Microsoft Azure (currently progress)
I provide consultation to clients regarding DR scenarios and collaborate with decision-makers at the client’s organization to develop backup and DR concepts through workshops and traditional consulting sessions, ultimately implementing these solutions.
Since the Datacenter domain in the German midsize sector is relatively rudimentary, I specialize in bridging the gap between DR, cloud, and DC-Virtualization topics. This allows me to advise clients not only on the modernization and expansion of existing on-premise scenarios (servers/storage) but also to develop and implement concepts for these scenarios.
